When my first dog, Pongo, went to heaven, the pain ran so deep I couldn’t bring myself to have another. Six years passed until life finally aligned calm, time, a home. I wanted a dog again with all my heart and the fear of loss was still there, because that fear never truly leaves.

Then Coffee arrived: a chocolate-brown dachshund with honey eyes, just like mine. They say dogs resemble their owners; I see it more every day. I believe, deep down, they choose us they look at us and decide to stay, as if we shared the very same way of feeling.

Coffee didn’t come to fill a void, but to expand the heart that Pongo left larger. He reminded me that true elegance is the comfort of being together, and that real luxury is the tenderness that wraps you when you need it most.

If you’re inside that grief, I hope these lines hold you: the love that hurts also heals. Pongo taught me how to love; Coffee taught me how to begin again. This is where Coffee Brown was born pieces soft, light, and beautiful, made to celebrate life shared.
